About Dominica Livestock Cooperative

The Dominica Livestock Cooperative (DLC) aims to increase profitability and streamline the production of meat and value-added products for each animal currently being raised for profit in Dominica.  We are a co-operative laying the infrastructure to facilitate trade, and establish domestic standards for all forms of livestock.  Ultimately establishing ourselves as a producer and distributor group.  By strengthening the farmers support system, the development of local breeds, butchering standards, efficiency, quality, production and awareness, a co-op membership will become synonymous with excellence.  With a strong foundation, we will be able to lower costs for the farmer, therefore lowering costs for the consumer.  Community is at the forefront of every initiative the cooperative invests in, and it is our ultimate goal to not only have members be prosperous, but the communities they come from and the communities that support us benefit as well.  We have members representing a blend of local, diaspora, and expat farmers.
